I know as a level 40 I can buy a wolf for 100g, but what quests do I need to do to buy a komodo because it's not in the Orc race??

Your orc would need to be exalted with Thunderbluff, or whichever faction the tauren are a part of. This is done by completing a ton of quests, cloth turn-ins, etc. that are guided by Tauren NPC's.
This can take an extremely long time,

MOUNT VERNON - One of the inmates in the jail of Knox County, most of them are the result of arrests by the Police Department of Mount Vernon.
From 1 January 2009 through November 15, 2009, there were 1456; of those, 666 came from the MVPD. The rest came from the office of sheriff of Knox County, Fredericktown and Danville police, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Department of Natural Resources and the Ohio court system. In addition, the Fairfield County housed 19 inmates in the jail of Knox County.
The city of Mount Vernon has recently approved a contract that was up 4 per cent of the costs of the city to house inmates in prison. For 2010, the city will pay $ 35 per day to house prisoners MVPD, or $ 298,341. This compares to $ 286,866 for 2009.
