The First Ever Five Fingers 5k race in world

First in the world over the five fingers of 5k, sponsored by Mahoney held this past weekend in Johnson City, TN. It was open to all riders, regardless of their shoes. However, the winner was FiveFingers and finished the race in 17:33. Vibram Five Fingers fan, Nestor, ran the race and shared with us this excellent report:

I recently participated in "Five Fingers 5k" in Johnson City, TN hosted by Mahoney, a retailer of various premises (IPE open mind combined with a Bass Pro Shop).The race was relatively low, with 89 participants, mostly local. Billed as the first world "Five Fingers 5k, special attention was paid to brokers FVF-coated, with all different classifications, scholarships and prizes, rather than" casual shoes "runners who were still invited to participate. Among the participants A total of 15 (including me) were finalists FVF. Surprisingly, there was only one woman in group sports fishing / Chile Classics.
