Where to buy Almond Paste?
Not Marzipan, I want to find Almond Paste. It's really tough to locate!
Not Marzipan. I live in Norfolk - tough to locate!
Almond paste and marzipan are basically the same thing. If you don't want the typical yellow looking marzipan buy one of the quality white marzipans instead.
American cooks call it almond paste, British ones marzipan and French ones

Around the Epiphany, French bakeries make loads of king cake. Unless they call a king cake, and it is nothing like the one you might find in New Orleans or at your neighborhood HEB. It's more like a hot potato, if you replaced marzipan. I sampled (inhalation), four from three different bakeries and surprisingly, the best came from Monoprix (HEB our neighborhood).
