Ask the question yourself...would you trust a 14 year old kid with a $5,000 camera??
You can't be serious. If your parents would buy that camera for you, you might as well just ask them to buy you a car too.

Many of our regulars opposed (Ctein and Carl said they are not keeping pace with the camera market, and Eamon was sick-get well soon, EH), but the following people responded. I did not tell anyone what to pick or what to write, I let the chips fall where they May What follows is what we came up with. -Mike urgency. Over the past two years or so I've become increasingly interested ..Well, not in street photography as such, but to have a camera with me as often as possible. I started to carry my DSLR with me. It was fun for the first time several years. Then it became cumbersome. I was delighted when Olympus introduced what was then the smallest digital SLR, the E-400, but somehow it has not clicked. The successors were nice but the same thing happened. The Olympus E-620 was much more to my liking and I was sorry to return after playing with it for a while....
